Halo Infinite Lone Wolves: Tips For The King Of The Hill Mode

Halo has been a blockbuster for the Xbox over the last couple of decades, so it's great for players between generations to experience Master Chief's trials and tribulations but also play the iconic multiplayer section that has helped pave the way for many modern shooters. Now as Halo Infinite is in the midst of its life and has started season two in early May, the game started expanding with new maps, modes, and even lore for the multiplayer and the best part for players is that the multiplayer section is free.

One of the most significant modes that have been introduced for season two is King Of The Hill mode which pits two teams against each other, with the objective being both teams need to control a point in order to score. Unlike the modes like Team Slayer, King Of The Hill requires strategy because kills don't matter when scoring but rather when players play the objective. These tips should help players new and old master this mode and help players strategize better and in turn win more efficiently.

This tip is pretty much universal to most other modes but specifically, the objective-based ones like Capture The Flag, because if players have left alone the enemy team can catch them much easier without any resistance. When players are able to be together for the majority of the match in Halo Infinite players then they can fight better and live longer, plus if all players are in the point longer, defending because much easier and allows everyone on the team to be calmer when fighting.

The good thing about Halo Infinite's team aspect is that it can be rewarding provided it's done right because if players are holding a position with their team then maintaining that point is much more tangible and easier to do. Plus when all players are together each player can be providing some sort of assistance to another player which can turn the course of the match instantly. However, if players run solo for most of the match they will meet some challenges because most of the time players are with the rest of the team and would be making quick work of those solo players, so it's always a good idea to stay with the team.

Be Aggressive

One of the many reasons why Halo Infinite is a great game for many players is that it's a rather diverse game, one mode will play differently than the other which allows players to try new things and keep things fresh. So this tip would work in most modes offered in Halo Infinite, provided players know the consequences of being overly aggressive, so balancing it out should help fight off the enemy better. Unlike most objective-based modes which make the case that players to be safer and cautious when fighting, King Of The Hill plays the opposite to some degree, while players should be alert at all times but being overly aggressive when defending is the name of the game.
